Smoked Homemade Burgers!

Yesterday, after grooming a few dogs, we decided to make some homemade burgers for dinner. My sister was coming over for dinner as she does often on Saturdays.

We made some smaller burgers for the girls and some nice big ones for the adults. We proceeded to smoke them on the smoker to make them taste even better!

While the burgers were on the smoker, my husband decided to make a pasta salad to go with the burgers, he threw it together on a whim and it was quite tasty! He cooked up some elbow pasta and chopped up some red pepper, red onion, and celery into it, with some mayo, seasoning salt, Mrs. dash and smoked paprika.

We added some liquid smoke to the burgers to give them an even smokier flavor. We had some leftover shredded cheese from another dinner last week, which we also mixed in with the burgers. Also, because we love spicy food, we also added in some chopped jalapenos.

After smoking the burgers for approximately 1 1/2 hours at 210 degrees, we then fired up the BBQ and did a quick grill on them.
